Mumbai Indians and CSK have played 30 matches in total up until IPL 2019. Arguably, the two biggest IPL teams to collide in the first match of the tournament.
So far Mumbai Indians have had an upper hand in the rivalry with their 18 wins to Super King's 12 wins.
The Head to Head looks skewed in the favour of Mumbai Indians for the matches played in home and away matches but the point to consider here is that their results at the neutral venue have been 5-all.
The IPL to be conducted in Dubai makes it a Neutral Venue for the sides and it should be a cracker of the start for the tournament.
On paper, both the sides look very strong but if we talk about the players in form and the X-Factor of Pollard being part of Mumbai Indians, I personally believe Mumbai Indians would win the first match of the tournament.
