RR posted a huge score while batting first and they took full advantage of the shorter boundaries of the Sharjah ground.
S Samson & Captain S Smith batted extremely well in tandem to knit a partnership of 121 runs after the fall of youngster Jaiswal's wicket. Thereafter the middle order collapsed while Smith stuck around up until 18th over.
Towards the end, J Archer went berserk to score a quickfire 27 runs to help his team post the total of 216 runs.
CSK started their innings cautiously but looked in a good position up until Watson was on the crease. R Tewatia bowled well under pressure to pick up three wickets for RR while the batsmen were trying to attack him. Faf du Plessis played a masterful knock of 72 while Dhoni played weird innings of 29 not out in which it never looked like he was going for the kill.

S Samson was declared Man of the Match for his powerful innings of 74. He scored at an extraordinary strike rate of 231.25.
In the end, Rajasthan Royals won comfortably. Although CSK scored 200 runs and were good in patches it never looked like they would win the game.
The most crucial thing for RR is that they won the match without their primiere players J Buttler & B Stokes in the team.
