Top Players of KKR and MI
CSK:
MS Dhoni: If one looks at his average(37.33) it might seem that he is having a great tournament but in reality, he hasn't played any innings of significance as yet. In the previous match against RCB, while chasing, he rightly promoted himself to bat at number 5 position but made only 10 runs. In the first round match VS SRH, he was the second-highest scorer for CSK but despite being there till the end he couldn't help his side win that match. Overall, Dhoni has an excellent record versus SRH, he has scored 442 runs at an average of 63.14 at a strike rate of 147.82.
A Rayudu: He was the main reason behind CSK's first match win and played astonishingly that day. After that, he hasn't looked in that sort of form again. In the previous match against RCB, he was the highest run-scorer but scored merely at run a ball. Overall, against SRH, he has scored 455 runs at an average of 45.50 and a strike rate of 133.43.
S Watson: After his heroics against KXIP he scored another 50 against SRH but failed to get going against RCB. Against SRH, He is the top scorer in IPL, he has scored 524 runs at an average of 34.93 and an excellent strike rate of 148.02. Watson has to perform well for CSK for them to have any chance to revive their situation in this tournament.
Faf du Plessis: This is the best IPL season for him, he has scored 307 runs at an amazing strike rate of 147.59 and an average of 61.40. He hasn't been amongst the runs in the previous two innings but if he clicks along with Watson at the top we could have an exciting game. Against SRH, he doesn't have a great record, he has scored only 1 fifty in 10 innings and also has a mediocre average of 26.44.
SRH:
D Warner: He has been amongst the runs in this series but hasn't played any match-winning inning as yet. Overall, He has scored 275 runs at an average of 39.28 and a strike rate of 125. In the previous few matches, he has looked in good touch but still hasn't scored at his usual strike rate of 140+.
R Khan: Mere words are not enough to explain how good he has been in the last five matches, 25/2 (4 Ov) vs RR, 12/3 (4 ov) vs KXIP, 22/1 (4 ov) vs MI, 12/0(4 ov) vs CSK & 14/3 (4 ov) vs DC. He is the bowler with the best economy in the history of IPL and the way he is bowling in this tournament he clearly looks like the best spinner in the world when it comes to T20 cricket.
M Pandey: Like D Warner he has been amongst the runs but hasn't really been able to produce match-winning innings. So far, he has scored 202 runs at an average of 28.85 and a strike rate of 124.69.
J Bairstow: He has played two innings of significance for SRH. SRH won both the matches in which he has scored a 50. He has been inconsistent with making runs though, he could turn out to be a very dangerous batsman when on the song.

Other Players to watch
K Williamson (SRH): I believe his batting played a major role in SRH's win against DC and he could play a very crucial role against CSK.
N Jagadeesan (CSK): He didn't get too many opportunities to play but he showed played a decent knock against RCB in the previous match. If he manages to improve his performance slightly, it will help strengthen the middle order for CSK.
Both the teams are struggling at this point in time. CSK have won only 2 matches out of the 7 whereas SRH have won only 3 matches out of 7. Either team can win today's match.
