CSK vs SRH Dream11 Prediction: Chennai Super Kings vs Sunrisers Hyderabad Best Dream11

CSK vs SRH Dream11 Team, Probable Playing XI, Toss, Pitch and Match Preview. Sunrisers hoping to rise against the Super Kings in Delhi

The Big Picture

IPL 2021 moves on to Phase II of the tournament, where teams would compete in Delhi and Ahmedabad. CSK and SRH are set to play four matches each in Delhi. The reverse fixture will also be played at the same venue. Competing against the same side twice on the same venue can turn beneficial for franchises. Conditions at the Arun Jaitley Stadium are conducive for both teams as they are habitual to their respective home ground wickets. The wicket will support spinners to a large extent. Overall, in 14 meetings dominant CSK have won 10 matches whereas SRH have won 4 matches.

Chennai Super Kings

A thumping win against arch rivals RCB has definitely raised CSK’s confidence. Moeen Ali misses out against SRH due to a hamstring injury. Ambati Rayudu who was seen limping against RCB might make way for Robin Uthappa. A threat to any opposition Kane Williamson has had a below average run against Shardul Thakur. Thakur has dismissed Williamson twice and has conceded only 38 runs. Ali’s injury will allow Dwayne Bravo to fit in the side, Bravo can be threat on this wicket considering the variations he can bowl, especially during the death overs. David Warner has smoked the likes of Jadeja, Tahir and Ali with a strike rate over 15. However, surprisingly Warner’s strike rate against Chahar, Curran and Bravo falls below 100. Since 2020 season CSK on an average have scored only 43 runs for the loss of1 wicket during the power play overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Uncertainty over Bhuvneshwar Kumar’s return brings more opportunities for the likes of Khaleel Ahmed and Siddharth Kaul. Unfortunately for SRH, Sandeep Sharma who has been their best bowler against CSK has had a poor run this season. Abdul Samad who missed out in couple of matches due to a hamstring injury is expected to return to the squad. Manish Pandey who was dropped from the Playing XI due to poor strike rate must replace Virat Singh. Williamson’s addition to the squad might help Pandey bat more freely. When Warner and Bairstow open for SRH their average Power Play score creeps up to 52 for the loss of one wicket. Considering the wicket SRH might start with only two specialist fast bowlers and would expect Vijay Shankar to fill in the third fast bowlers’ spot.

Pitch Conditions and Toss

The wicket aids spinners. Average batting score on this wicket is 158 runs. 39 out of 74 matches have been won by side chasing a target. Considering the dew factor side winning the toss will opt to bowl. 170 looks to be a par score.
