DC vs SRH Dream11 Team, Probable Playing XI, Toss, Pitch and Match Preview: Delhi Capitals lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the second match of the day, overall, 20th Match of the tournament
Sunrisers Hyderabad finally got on the points table by defeating Punjab in their previous match. SRH, as well as DC, have been extremely consistent for the last 2 years in IPL and it is expected to be a cracker of a match tonight. If we talk about DC, they have won 3 out of the 4 matches played this year and look very strong this year as well. If we talk about the Head to head between these two teams SRH have an upper hand overall. Although, if we look at their last 6 matches played in 2019 &2020 they have won three games each.
Shikhar Dhawan has been the most consistent player for DC and is the top run-scorer for them; in fact, he also tops the overall list of run-scorers this year in IPL. The problem for DC is that apart from him no one else has been consistent enough. Pant & Shaw have played a significant knock each but neither has been consistent up until now. When we talk about their bowling A Khan has been the pick of the bowlers with 8 wickets to his name followed by Woakes with 5.
SRH captain and their main batsman D Warner is again amongst the runs but hasn’t played a big knock yet. After the inclusion of K Williamson in the previous match their Top 3 batsmen look extremely strong on paper. The problem with SRH has been that although their batsmen have looked in decent touch they haven’t been able to score briskly enough to be able to chase targets. So far, they have batted second in all their matches. R Khan like every year has been the pick of the bowlers, whereas Bairstow has been the top run-scorer for them with 2 fifties in 4 matches.
The M.A. Chidambaram stadium has four different pitches, and all these wickets are slow and sluggish. The oddball holds up and the lack of pace affects stroke-making. 165 looks to be a par score. All three DC wins have come while chasing this year. On the other end, SRH too has won their only game while chasing, although SRH has not batted first this year as yet. It is pretty evident that either team would want to bat second if they win the toss not only because of their performance while chasing but also because of the due factor.

Delhi Capitals: R Pant, M Stoinis and L Pandit
Sunrisers Hyderabad: David Warner, Jonny Bairstow and V Shankar
Delhi Capitals: K Rabada, C Woakes & A Khan
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, S Kaul and K Ahmed
Delhi Capitals: S Dhawan (231) and P Shaw (113)
Sunrisers Hyderabad: J Bairstow (173) and D Warner (130)
Jonny Bairstow chooses himself as the first-choice wicket-keeper batsman based on his performance followed by R Pant who can change the game on its head on his day.
David Warner and S Dhawan are obvious top two batsmen. P Shaw goes in as the third batsman and as the fourth batsman, K Jadhav is in as a gamble.
M Stoinis and C Woakes would go in as first choice all-rounder’s, Stoinis for his batting and C Woakes his bowling. Alternatively, people can look at L Yadav as well mainly because DC has shown trust in him as a batsman.
Rashid Khan chooses himself in any team, A Mishra and K Ahmed ends up being the other two bowlers.
Captain:
It being a big match D Warner could play a crucial role in the match followed by S Dhawan who has been in excellent form this year.
Vice Captain: Jonny Bairstow purely based on his consistency this year goes in as the first choice Vice-Captain whereas we can gamble with A Mishra as the Vice-Captain him picking 4 wickets in the previous match.
